Some people ask me why I choose kendo, such an intense and niche sport.
Many of them don’t understand why it seems like I get bruised and sore all the time, I still go to the Dojo every training.
The truth is once you seek yourself into kendo, you feel more alive with every swing you make, every moment you fight.
I see myself more clearly through that.
These marks are not pain.
They’re my proof.
They teach me I don’t need to care about what they say.
And I will not put down my Shinai.
